Boxing Update :
After a wonderful start by India in World Women's Boxing Championship 2012 with the wins of Mandakini Chanu(57kg) and Neetu Chahal(69kg), Indian team tasted their first defeat in the tournament as Pooja Rani lost to American star Claressa Maria Shields in 75kg, Olympic weight category. With the defeat of Pooja, India misses out one Olympic spot in the London Olympics which will feature three weight categories -- 51kg, 60kg and 75kg. Earlier India's
Mandakini Chanu(57kg) and Neetu Chahal have won their respective first round matches easily will now face both the world no 1s in their weight categories. Today India's Olympic hope MC Mary Kom(51kg) will be in the ring..!
